Take the Dating Challenge with Jodi

PS I did the steps in this Nita Tucker book. I call Chapter 7 Jabie. Anyhow, my adorable husband bought me the dress in this video. I love it and it is so me.
PSS I told him I wanted a surprise when he returned from his business trip. Being in love doesn’t make you a mind reader. It is OK and fair to tell your partner what you wish for.

Amy and Jodi,
This is a tough challenge. I do want to marry and have someonewith whom to share my life. And I used to let my career be my biggest excuse — well I am going to have a more career-life balance now.
I will do the lists and will review the online dating options. But I may not sign up for the online dating just yet. I will commit to start going to a singles Sunday School class at church. And get out to at least one social event where it is possible to meet someone with common interests.
The obstacles you mentioned – I need to think about it. A lot of mine are internal, like Jodi was saying. But you are right – this is important to me and I should be seeking it – and not hiding from it. Which is pretty much waht I am doing now.
I will check in on this next week to report my progress. Thanks for the push.

Good job Angela!!! I think the fact that you are taking ONE step that means something to you is a good thing (meaning Singles Sunday School. Great way to meet a man with common interests/character.)
I signed up for the on-line thing, but I think I’m going to sign up for two sites, after talking to Missy C. My only external obstacle right now is my recent nose surgery, which makes it hard for me to talk. I’ve started an e-mail conversation with one man, but he already wants to talk on the phone. It’s a guy thing, I think. Women are okay to flirt and e-mail/text…men want to get down to business.
I’m excited that we can do this together! You can help hold me accountable
