MUFA Diet

Posted by admin

by Jodi McLean and Amy Plouf

The MUFA diet. MUFA stands for monounsaturated fatty acids.  The lovely MUFAs are found in avocado, nuts and seeds, oils, olives, and dark chocolate. Click here for more information about the diet. There is a grocery list available on that site, click here.

We spent an additional 5 minutes on the recipe featured on this video before tucking in! Jodi’s comment, ” I want to eat this every day”. That is the equivalent of  ”Mikey Likes It” people.

As promised beginning weights and stomach measurements:

Amy W 119 SM 34   Note, I do not want to lose weight so much as reduce stomach size (my doctor did recommend changing my diet to meet this goal, post 2 babies)

I am going to try the Mufa diet. Trader Joe’s has a great black olive tapenade. Love to put it on Tuna fish salad. Now tuna can have mercury…but love olives and avocado’s. Have gotten great deals on packaged individually wrapped raw almonds in small serving sizes. great for snack.

Need to try the veggie burger recipe. Looks good.
